keurgumak is a way of life set within protected natural reserves (the salt lagoon of somone, the bandia wildlife reserve, the sine saloum delta..) and exceptional ecological and innovative projects. la petite côte is one of the main tourist destinations in the country, a quiet area in the forest with farm animals and cultivated land, where we are ready to welcome you in:
- a place of training and construction sites in superadobe
- a place to host retreats, training, workshop, courses and residencies in harmony with nature
- a place to find arts, music and dance
- a femminist art gallery and place to carry out different creative processes
- a women’s house with a diasporic perspective
- anti-racism creative workshops for all ages with a diasporic perspective and special attention to emotions
- agricultural land where you can explore and learn about permaculture and agroecology
- a place for local food processing and preservation
- training on making traditional and fusion cuisine with home-grown local products
- reception of groups
- welcoming groups of women interested in senegal from an eco-feminist perspective
- welcoming children with their families, especially if the ancestors are from different ethnic backgrounds connected with african heritage. accompanied here by other children in a well-cared-for environment with the possibility of cultural exchange, common languages, and special attention to emotions. they can experience life in africa and visit the most ecological projects around (alternative schools, bioconstruction works, sites for the transformation of local products, and more)
